Since 2010, GAT has deployed more than 6,000 devices, with tanks reporting today from Australia, the United States, South Africa and across Asia. There is no location restriction: where there is no mobile coverage, units report over satellite. Every report is written in the local time of its site.

Each unit checks what is available and switches between 4G and satellite on its own, including while the tank is moving. There is nothing to choose and nothing to configure.
Units report over 4G wherever mobile coverage is available.
Where there is no mobile signal, the same unit reports over satellite instead.
Trailers, skid tanks and bins report level and GPS location as they travel between the two.
